Thanks a lot @Nug-bug DWC is a bit of a pain to keep the water cool in the summer months. Lots of ice bottles in the freezer. Water chiller is a bit to expensive and complex for what I have. Pays off with beautiful white roots and resin coated colas. Root rot sucks and I hope I never experience it. Here’s a pic of lemon haze (my favorite girl right now):

UPS finally showed up with my goodies!! Upgraded to a 600 watt digital switchable so I’m psyched and so are the girls. Heat became an issue the first night seeing as the timer got hit somehow and switch it on at 4am with no fan. The tempwhen I finally realized was 97!! The plants didn’t like it and GSC has a bit of scorching since she was closest to the 
. Anyway I got the MH bulb also and put it in and it’s a bit cooler than the HPS surprisingly. Got a cool tube and a 2 by 4 by 6 tent coming later this week so this closet shit is nearing the end. Summer is too hot to grow and it’s not even warm here yet. The tent and cool tube should help. Already have a 4 inch inline fan and carbon filter ready to go. Just need two 6 to 4 reducers. Did a res change on all 4 plants. I’m starting to like the separate reservoirs because I can formulate each plants nutrient solution to suite where each plant is in its life cycle. The autos are full on into flowering and I just flipped the light to 12/12 for the photos so they are on transition nutes (equal parts grow and flower). My ruderalis dominant fast buds GSC is fattening up pretty nice for it being so scrawny. Lemon haze looks amazing and bubblegum is looking great also. Gorilla Glue is starting to hit her stride also but is still a bit small. Here are some updated pics, also some pics of the new 600 watt switchable:

The amazon fairy paid a visit in the last few days and I now have my carbon filter, cool tube and can fan all hooked up. I drilled a hole through the wall to an adjacent closet to vent the hot air. It’s brought the temps down 10+ degrees. I couldn’t keep the door shut or it would hit 100+. It only got up to 97 but that is damn hot. Now with the door shut it stays at 84. Perfect. We’ll see how cool it gets tonight with both fans running. Hopefully it dries out also cuz daytime humidity in the room has been 60%+. It this damn wet weather, raining every day. Here are some pics of the new setup. Also a pic of GSC cuz she is looking pretty fat lately. Hopefully she gets a lot fatter cuz she doesn’t have a red hair in her, all white for now. She smells a bit peppery with a hint of grapefruit. Not overwhelming though which is good. I also took the reflector that came with the light and cut it directly down the middle and taped it to the small cool tube reflector making a nice 10-12 Inches on both sides instead of buying a new reflector. Here are a couple pics of my Ruderalis dominant Girl Scout Cookies Auto. She’s actually turned into a pretty nice plant. She’s packing on the trichs and has very few orange hairs which means she still has a bit of time before she’s ready. I wasn’t too impressed in the beginning but now she’s packing on weight and looking good. She doesn’t have hardly any smell except when you mess with her. She then smells like grapefruit. Also found 6 ladybugs 
on a bikeride the other day and let em loose in the growroom, hence the pic.

I haven’t updated in a bit so I figured I would now. GSC is a week away from chop chop. Lemon Haze and Bubblegum are looking amazing. I temporarily scrogged lemon haze just to slow vertical growth because they can get out of hand quickly.i took the scrog ring off a couple days ago and she is liking being freed from her tortuous binds. I didn’t scrog BG because she is suppose to stay shorter but I am now questioning this because she is looking sativa dom and still growing an inch per day. LH is the one with bent branches and BG is the one with straight branches. GSC is the one with the resin coated buds

I haven’t posted an update in a bit so here we go. BG and LH are now starting week 6 of flowering. Both look amazing but BG is far ahead of LH. She may be ready by week 8 (August 20th) but we will see. They are both loading on the trichs and smell as like their names. LH smells like fresh lemon zest. And BG like earthy bubblegum. I actually found a couple male flowers on Bubblegum and removed them immediately. It was too late though and there are now a few seeds on bubblegum which is pretty sweet as they will be feminized. I counted 3 total on the entire plant so it’s not a big deal. I’m just happy to her genetics because she is nice. I actually really hope I find a few seeds on the lemon haze because they would be a new feminized strain bred (accidentally) by me. Another near tragedy happened when the duct tape on my carbon filter and fan failed and fell directly on Lemon Haze, decapitating one of her 4 main colas. She still looks amazing and can focus her energy on the 20+ remaining tops.

I took a few pics yesterday, a week later from the last pics and there is definitely a difference. They are now in the bulking phase and are fattening up nicely. I went on my breeders website to get some info and Lemon Haze actually was renamed to Lemon Shining Silver Haze. I had no idea they were the same strain! It’s a cross between Lemon Skunk and Amnesia Haze. It says the flowering time is between 8-9 weeks which seems pretty optimistic to me. Bubblegum is also an 8-9 week plant but LSSH is behind her. Maybe she will bulk up in the last few weeks. We will see.

The breeder I got the Rudi dom GSC from sent me a bunch of freebies. They replaced the GSCs with 3 new ones an also threw in 3 Chrystal Meth And 3 LSD-25s both auto-fems that look absolutely amazing. They are both colorful as hell with the Chrystal Meth having red, pink and purple phenos. I may start another journal on here but I’m definitely doing one on AFN. The Lemon Shining Silver haze and Bubblgum Classic are both getting fatter and fatter every day. LSSH is gonna be so damn sticky! And the smell of lemon is overwhelming. The trichs are building like I’ve never seen on a plant. I trimmed some leaves yesterday and my arms were sticking to my t-shirt from just brushing against the tops. Even the lower flarf buds are covered in sugar. I plucked a lower bud today to sample her and see where she’s at. She still has a long way to go. Will post some pics Saturday when I do a Rez change.

Just a bit of an update. We are getting close!! Especially Bubblegum! Gonna se where I’m at in the 20th (exactly 8 weeks into flower). May let her go an additional week to 9 depending on how she looks. Lemon Haze looks exactly 1-2 weeks behind and is getting REALLY frosty. I also switched light cycle to 11 on 13 off to help the haze through flowering. Want to see how bubblegum reacts also. There’s already new pistils shooting out and it’s only day 3 on this cycle. Should get a decent yield out of both of them. I’m trying to get my temps lower at night but 77 is the lowest. BG has some pretty dense buds and lots of frost. Hoping the lemon 
catches up.

All look really close to ready in the pictures. Interesting that you got a few seeds out of those. I hope you eventually plant them so we can follow that grow as well.

Well, finally chopped both the bitches down. Bubblegum is done drying and only gonna zip and a half off her. She looked a lot denser than she was, thanks to the nice high temps. Lemon Haz exams down 2 days after Bubble cuz she looked horrible. I had to chop her cuz she was deteriorating quickly. Both went exactly 8 weeks to the day. The smoke from bubble I great, nice uplifting high with a on set of couch lock 1-2 hours in. She’s in the jars curing as we speak and is getting better every day. Lemon still hasn’t had an official smoke report yet since i haven’t smoked any that wasn’t rushed through the drying phase but from what I can tell, she’s gonna be a knockout. The buds are super fluffy due to her haze genes but they are covered heavily in trichs. Plan on making some bho from all the sugar leaves from both plants. Here are some pics of bubblegum during the harvest and lemony before the chop. The final yield from both plants is between 3-4 oz. not bad for summertime heat and no AC. 3 ounces look like 6 though because of the fluffiness.
