This is my first journey to growing. Im using an indoor grow box. I have some white widow autoflower. So i have 3 that i let germinate and didn’t start lighting until a few days after it popped out of the pod. This is why it is leggy. The 4th one has had light on it since day 1 and looks really nice! . Can i still fix these? Its like day 5 of vegetation. Like i said, they went without light for about a week after they germinated. i know rookie move. Recover or re plant new seeds?
Just support it anyway you can.
A toilet paper or paper towel roll or a small Styrofoam cup with bottom cut out may fit good around the net pot.
Sometimes i use these like this and then i fill them with perlite, but hydroton could work.
Is the grow box hydroponic or will it be planted into soil or something?
It is a hydroponic so i plan on letting them stay in there. Its pre built so pretty much plug and play. I do have some paper towel rolls i can cut.
Can you either lower the light, or increase its intensity? That will help with the stretch
6" fan will create a little air flow to help strength stem. (Enough air for a jiggle )
For now the best you can do is give it a brace ( a twig and bread tie could work) along with 12 dli of light good luck
Transfer them to a bigger pot and put most of the stem under the soil and then put them under a light and have ur light on 40-50%
@Wealthyman I agree with @Aussie_autos , normally you just bury those leggy ladies up to their necks at transplant but since your growing in potato rocks I’d say build some scaffolding lol until they get stalks on them. You’ll and they will get through this and your wealth will be a homegrown treasure!!
@Wealthyman Just keep rotate couple times a day will stop the stretch
I’ll never seen these the same again
