@SpaceAce. It sounds like you have the light too close. For a reference a lot of people will start seedlings with a cfl. I would recommend moving the light up. Even in flowering most lights don’t go closer than 12 inches. A picture of the light with the plant would help. I’m new at this so I could be off base a little. Others will be by to correct me if I’m wrong. @dbrn32@Screwauger@blackthumbbetty. In the mean time fill out the attached support ticket. It helps to get the basics out of the way.

@Bubblehead thanks! Posting my info below as per the support ticket.
I looked into getting florescent tubes but couldn’t find any locally. I didn’t realise standard cfl’s would have sufficed. Since I don’t have a lamp anyway, I hope the LED lights will still be fine. Maybe I should only use the white spectrum? Thanks for tagging dbrn32, Screwauger, and blackthumbbetty!
@Screwauger Ah, I knew it! I felt as though a couple of inches was too close, despite some websites suggesting it for LED lights. (They did not stipulate that distance for freshly planted seeds though, so the fault is squarely on me.)
@Mr.FckAVERAGE Got it! I moved them down. I managed to snap these two shots just before the stroke of midnight — where the lights go off (via a timer) for their very first 6 hour sleep cycle.
Come check out my journal i got going on and u can see some results with them lights. I am running an hps also tho. Also i would get a humidity guage so u know where ur running there u can even pick up a cheap reptile one just so u have a referance guide
@monkman thanks! I am astounded by the great community here. And humbled by the warm welcome. So glad too see it legalised in Michigan. They will be voting to have it legalised where I live this month (to be put into effect in July). We have the numbers, so fingers crossed.
@dbrn32phew I dodged a bullet there. Looks like I meandered in here just in a nick of time. What an awesome place! I feel more confident my seeds will sprout now. I hope the organic soil isn’t too toxic for them at this early juncture.
@Killadruid I plan on checking out your journal straight after writing this! I hope I can find it. That humidity gauge is awesome. I bought one! I want to buy a whole handful and start sticking them on everything. I also bought a 4 in 1 soil tester so I can compare the temperature of the soil with the temperature of the air. Plus, PH, light and moisture seem important. I’ve spend a lot on my setup, I don’t want to start skimping on things now.
I already foresee that I’m gonna need a taller grow tent.
Thank u for the likes hope u liked my journal. Almost there. I know it gets exspensive ive spent around 2k$ usd. On this grow but that includes my electric and everything. But with this grow i should be able to make my money back on not buying weed at 200 an ounce. Here is my humidity controler. I right now have my dehumidifier hooked to it.
