Leaves yellow/red

Hi, So this is my first plant Im not sure exactly when it began because I kinda of did it on accident. But it’s an indoor grow I changed the light cycle from 18hrs to 12 hrs exactly 4 weeks ago to begin flowering. Everything was going fine then a couple days ago I noticed some leaves were turning yellow and almost red (i’ll include some pics). I have not used any nutrients before just straight up half a glass of tap water every other day. Also I feel like the buds are developing really slowly but maybe I am just being impatient.

Is there anyone I can tag to look at it

@CoyoteCody @tenga

Hi Killerdwag! Welcome to the forum. I looked at the pics u posted. I also noted u give a half glass of tap water every other day. When cannabis is in flower it needs more phoshorus and potassium as well as cal-mag. Possibly ur yellow leaves are telling u that Mary Jane is hungry.
But I would like to see more info. Can u please fill out that form that @Covertgrower posted? Otherwise Im just guessing.

Appreciate the quick reply this is what I know

  • Strain: unkown
  • Method:Generic potting soil
  • Vessels: “Space tank” A bucket lined with tinfoil
  • PH of Water: unsure, tap water
  • PPM/TDS or EC of nutrient solution if applicable
  • Indoor
  • Light system: 2 led bar lights inside the bucket on a 12 hr timer
  • Temps; Day, Night, in the house so probably no lower than 60 at night and around 80 in the day
  • Humidity; Unkown
  • Ventilation system; The bucket has a fan blowing in the bottom then another fan blowing out the top
  • AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier: none
  • Co2; No

What have you been feeding?

nothing just water

What kind of soil is it in?

I think it’s Miracle Grow potting mix for indoor flowers

I have 5 autos planted directly into the medium at the same time, 2 are flowering one is pre flower and the other two still vegging all 5 are on day 43. I found a bunch of leafs with some yellow spots don’t know exactly what it is. Could someone share some light on this.

Support ticket?

I think this and the MG soil is probably the issue.

What is your recommended solution? Also would this contribute to slow bud development?

@Killerdwag If that’s an accident…

Not a lot you can do at this point with it already in flower, just let it ride out, and yes I do believe so it has a lot of stuff that the plant doesn’t use during flower.

Well I appreciate all the help I had no idea a site like this even existed.
Hopefully I’ll still get something of a useable harvest. What type of soil would you recommend for my next attempt?
