Hey everyone!
I’m really struggling to figure out what’s happening to my ladies. The leaf tips yellowing/dying. Ive flushed my medium (coco) and my nutrient pH going in is usually around 5.5-6 I have one critical Purple auto and one gorilla glue auto
I don’t know. I don’t have a tds yet, I just have a pH test kit
Get yourself a PPM pen, is it a PH pen that you have? you will need to have a PPM pen to see if your plant has been feeding enough or too much. Also whats your watering schedule mate and what nutes are you using and amounts, it may just be a bit of nute burn on the leaves.
What have you been feeding? Its difficult to say without much data, but what nutrients and how much of each? Temps wouldn’t be bad to know either, and your ph could probably be around 5.8 or so too.
@Hungrybud @dbrn32 I use general organics go box nutrients. Right now I’m using 3/5 the recommended amounts what’s recommended for week 3. The tent stays between 75°F - 80°F and rh between 43-45%
I agree you need to get pH and TDS/PPM pens to understand what you are feeding and runoff. The bottom leave often get burned, but get removed later in the grow. Could be caused by overwatering.
It looks a bit like nutes burn, maybe from watering and the nutes splashed on the leaves. The new growth looks good. Just to be safe I’d reduce concentration of nutes to 2/5 recommended dose
I would try doing above for now and get that equipment when you can.
@WickedAle @basementstealth @dbrn32 @Hungrybud would that be the reason why my stems are turning purple as well?
Purple stems could be the strain or mg/Cl deficiency.
They’re both indica-dom hybrids. Critical purple is 90% indica 10% ruderalis and gorilla glue is 50indica 40sativa 10 ruderalis
If you already are using Cl/mg in your mix, I would not be concerned. If not you might consider adding. I use GH nutes that contain MgCl. Not sure of the GH organics though.
The GO box comes we the cal-mag & I’ve been using it
Probably its normal
I wouldn’t worry about a little purple or red in petioles right now. As long as it’s not the main stalk damping off you should be fine.
@WickedAle @basementstealth @dbrn32
Okay so there’s a little yellowing on the tips of the newer leaves but it’s not nearly as bad.
Wouldn’t worry about that right now either. Just make sure tds levels don’t get too high.
