Leaf spot fungus or rust fungus or both?

@Donaldj @Majiktoker Right but I slipped through the cracks while adhering to protocol. That’s why I bring it up. It’s a flawed system. It may catch 60% issues. Repeat offenders get less value than first timers. Check the data.

No need learn how to read the support ticket

@Majiktoker you suggested I overwatered. That proves my point. I only watered after the metal tips said moist/dry. If I did it as soon as my knuckle told me it would be water logged, right?

@Majiktoker how many people have submitted a second or third or fourth support ticket and had their issue resolved? More than those who just entered one? I don’t think so

I use weight of pots to judge it’s very simple

As do I. Yet I get an overwatering situation on my auto (in a small pot) only after 1 water.

Actually I caught leafspot fungus for @Paranorman it took him nearly 2 months to follow suggestion. There is no perfect system I always want people to find their own answers because I am not there to know variables I can’t feel smell or see plant and soil to make judgement all we can hope to do is help direct towards an answer.
Wish there was a magic button on the key board to fix things on sight some times the answer comes that easy

Agreed @Donaldj it’s like a doctor: they don’t know your body like you do.
I went to:
2 orthopedic drs
1 accupuncture specialist
1 physical therapist

Before I learned about nerve damage after going to a chiropractor. The others didn’t help. I had to diagnose myself
I’m fine fumbling my way. I just thought my experience could enhance the triage process

How much are you watering each time you do? The probe can read incorrect if it isn’t properly cleaned and stored, I believe, correct me if I’m wrong @Majiktoker

Also once a leaf had damage it doesn’t recover that leaf it will always be damaged

Quite a bit these things happen over time not in an instant, an easy way of determining and probably the easiest way is by lifting the pot if its light it is dry meaning needs water if it is heavy wait until it is light you can fill up another bucket of equivalent size to determine weight.

Meter with metal probes are highly inaccurate and wouldn’t trust them by any means im not saying your wrong if its working for you great its working and im not gunna argue it is or isn’t  all im trying to say is most of the time they are inaccurate, if you got an accurate one thats awesome thats a rarity it happens @Hawkeye_diesel is right.

I water enough to get about a full fill on the base around the plant. The last water of the auto was much more than that (by accident) but usually just enough to get a runoff reading

Lol almost 80% of properly filled support tickets lead to a diagnosis doesn’t mean patient wants to hear it and that everyone agrees with the answer some will only want to hear one answer

I’m happy to get an answer @Donaldjbut I beliieve I was led down the wrong path due to a mis diagnosis of nitrogen toxicity when it was wind burn. No blame put on anyone except a suggestion for slight improvements to the template.

If you think you have x you chase it down but what if you didn’t have x you had y? That’s my point

Then it is probably over watering. Shoukd be fine in a day or two. Does the pot have good drainage? What kind of pot it is in again? If in a cloth pot, couldn’t you put a towel under the pot to absorb the excess water?
Also the soil moisture meter how far is it penetrating the soil as to how far your knuckle goes down is a big difference

@Hawkeye_diesel I learned to next time use cloth. This time it is plastic with tons of perlite and razor blade cuts in the pot

@Fever hang in there we are trying to help explain this the best we can, I apologize if I came off disrespectful that was not my intent, and i felt like that was partially my fault due to not wording it right, thats why I called in @Hawkeye_diesel, because maybe he can help word it for me or donaldj either one of the 2.

Lol @Fever my man, you should use a drillbit or something to put holes in the plastic for better drainage

@Majiktoker you are not disrespectful at all

I am just suggesting improvements to the process based on my experience

I’m fine giving feedback I’m passed the annoyed stage of the first timer

Sodering iron works great. I guess just let the plant dry for a couple of days and keep an eye on it

I have a soldering iron @Hawkeye_diesel I saw the posts I just was already potter so I thought it was too late (for drills and solder)
