Hello, new grower here. I am growing outdoors and my strain labels were destroyed. Is there any way to tell which strain is which? I have Gorilla Glue, Bruce Banner and Girl Scout cookies are the ones that I think survived. They are starting to bud nicely, but I would really like to be able to separate the strains and know what I have.

There is unfortunately no way to tell the strain of a plant by its appearance.

I use an app called jane to track my grows. I label each plant in the ap by its location in my tent.
While this doesnt help your current situation, it will in the future.

You might be able to tell them apart by smell after you harvest and dry. Girls scout cookies has an easily identified smell. Haven’t grown the other two.

I write on the fabric pots with a paint marker. Can wear off a little, but it stays well enough to tell which plant is which. Outdoors I guess you could write on the stalk with a sharpie.

I saw a post were someone on forum marks the stems with sharpie but yes smell after harvest may help

I have some gorilla glue clones outside right now, & i have their mom from 1st grow. Not sure if the picks will help, but she definitely looks different from my other strains. Sorry i thought i had a picture i could tell, ill keep looking lol

My gorilla glue smelled like peaches and super glue, and bruce banner should be strawberry, once the buds start to develop enough to put out terps rub the stem and smell it.

dont feel bad i had a similar experience with my ladies, dropped 2 different seeds in one cup and when i harvested them, i just put ?s on the bags lol
