Kerri's wild grow (First grow)

The outside of the tent with a lock to keep everyone but me out.

The beautiful inside. The black square is my Bluetooth speaker that I am playing classical music through. Inside the paper towel is my seed germinating. The light goes off, it was just on to see everything.

A couple of things to think on:

carbon filter doesn’t need to be used until there’s a stink. Using it in high humidity will drastically shorten the life of the activated charcoal inside. I would not use until flower.

I notice the color of your light and should point this out: most of these lights wildly exaggerate their performance. With a light like this you want to go by the actual wattage and not what they’re ‘equivalent’ to. Figure 50 watts (from the wall) per square foot of grow space.

If you haven’t already I’d look into purchasing a decent PH and TDS meter (NOT the soil probe type) as they will be the most used instruments you own for growing.

Good luck and tag me if you need help: use the @ sign along with my handle.

Carbon filter isn’t actually on. It’s connected but not being used.
The light is 350 watts, full spectrum.
I have all three meters.
I’ve found something to be passionate about and I’m working my hardest to have it all thrive.
I also have Tiger Bloom, Big Bloom, Grow Big, Wholly Mackerel, and Kelp Me Kelp You. I will be growing it in Happy Frog soil.
How am I doing? =^_^=

Yes. It’s currently 79.8 degrees Fahrenheit and has a humidity a little above 39%.

I have downloaded it, but no humidifier. I just keep spraying my water in there. I can get a humidifier once I have the money.

i would get one when you can. if needed u can use a damp towel with a fan blowing on it
speaking of that, if you dont have a fan, get a couple of small ones to use in your grow tent to keep air flowing around

I have a fan, i’ll just disconnect the air filter for now.

See, that’s what I’m worried about. I let it soak for a little over 18 hours as I was told. Then, with tweezers, I placed it in the paper towel. Unfortunately, the towel dried twice, and I haven’t seen a single hint of a taproot yet. I’m contemplating either soaking them again, or just moving straight to soil.

how long has it been in the papertowel?

2-3 days.

lets ask @Myfriendis410 about the paper towel method which i never used.
