Just was wondering

Trying figure out what I need to do to grow some girls this summer. What are some essentials for soil growing outdoors vs out doors in pots? What do you think could/ would/ will be the ups and downs of each ? Thank you

What sort of soil do you have in garden?
Is it fertile?

You’ll want a soil that is properly pH buffered for cannabis. Fox Farm soils, Roots Organics, and Black Magic are good examples.

Stay away from anything that references “moisture control.” Cannabis needs wet/dry cycles for good root health. Also stay away from any soil that references “feeds for x months.” These soils are absolutely loaded with excessive nutes in pellets that nukes your soil and often causes nute burn and submarines your pH every time you water.

Will probably be FF:OF soil. Or something like that. Should use nutes outdoors or no?

Welcome to the community :v: Growing outside is much cheaper. Energy source big red is free That’s the upside. downside deal with some bugs Also you could have a few deer come along help do some topping. And possibly thieves depending on where you’re located.
Good luck with your new venture.

Bugs, and weather are the two big issues. Especially caterpillars.

I’m wicked screwed if no see’ums are an issue. For everyone cold, azalea’s are in bloom in N Fla. - full pollen green on cars and everything else…

It’s those storms that can screw you. Especially where you live. Bugs can be somewhat controlled. I hate them big damn juicy caterpillars.
