@garrigan62, I don’t want to say; you want to look at this and see what you think?

Thinking rot from not enough airflow? Or

I’m afraid so.

only 2nd grow… so whats that mean? and yeah… I was thinking complete darkness so moved it to another part of basement with no fans on it for the 72 hrs of darkness.

Well ive never dealt with it myself but I’m pretty sure you can cut out the infected part and keep the rest but someone more exp. On the matter will know better.

just watched a video on it and went and tore apart 2-3 buds and I dont see anything like they were talking about… gray slimy stickiness. Lots of stickiness but all green in color on insides… even the sacks that are most brown in color the trics on them appear to be clear/cloudy. the buds are also green inside where I cut a couple in two. But it is what it is… if everyone thinks it is mold I need to get rid of it pretty soon… as I dont want to be smoking any mold… but I dont know. Still have two more plants almost a week away in my tent … with fans and RH around 20-30% and temps around 80-82 with lights on and dont want to ruin all three… looked at them and dont see anything like this on them.

If it matters at this point… the drying rack is semi enclosed 4ft by 4 ft by 60" off floor that the buds are hung across top with rows of string… it measures 68F with 38% RH with temp gage hanging approx same level as buds… fan sitting 15ish ft away and rotating is blowing air into bottom and exiting at top… the ones that to me looked like more of the brownish sacks than the others I seperated onto open air racks siting 4 ft off floor and same fan providing air to them indirectly.

Looked at them again this morning under microscope and they look more purple in color than brown… still not sure what it is. A lot of the sugar leaves were also a purple color… any chance I have something other than mold going on?

some more pics if they help…IMG_0339

Looks like some purple tinted pot to me:heart_eyes::sunglasses:

I thought it looked purple too. Did it get cold toward the end?

@Myfriendis410

I was looking at the pics and he said he just cut them. But they sure look male to me.
The first 2 pics look to me as if they have balls and the last pic I have no idea what that is.
But I need to see the ho;e plant first.

Yes I put ice all around the top of the pot for 72 hours while it was in darkness.

@garrigan62 these are pics of right up under the buds… the nodes at the branches looked female to me while growing… the seeds are from ILGM so really didnt pay a whole lot of attention to sex tho.
Not sure any of the pic I have left will show anything but here they are… sorry about rotation on some of them… couldnt figure out how to change it. the flowers were minutes before I started cutting last night.

Purple leaves in pre cut pic. Feminized seeds right?!? Ilgm seeds. Nice looking buds.

I see you like to hang your buds upside down to dry

Go ahead and hang them
My friend. They justed looked that way and i could be wrong to. Hopefully you won’t find any seeds. Your harvest looks to be a nice one by the way.

to me it looks like temperature-induced purpling… nothing to worry about. (most probably due to the ice)

@garrigan62 @neofirebird @Myfriendis410 @EastCoastP6 @Cheesemaker Thanks so much everyone much appreciated. I was a breath away from throwing all away Saturday nite as I had never seen purple before.
@DVM yes that’s what I did with first grow and now this one. First ones I just cut the whole plant and hung it upside down then trimmed everything after it dried. Didn’t like that so much so did a lot of trimming before hanging this time. Is there a better way to dry them.
