Looking good! One of these trimming trays are worth the cost. Makes it easier to separate the keif from the trim. The keif is ready to smoke and is very potent.

Greetings all. Hope all is well. I have a problem. My almost don’t plant have started to get spider mites. Seen like they are still young. Was wondering what t ok do with her. She has no volume. Like 1/2 ounce in her. @Myfriendis410 i was told maybe you got some info for me on this. I she two other plants in tent.

How close to harvest? Looks pretty close. If so, I would chop and do a good wash.

@GreggT she is actually 97 days old. Very close to harvest. Is not a huge infection. Seems like the early stages.

If you have captain jacks dead bug, you can use that up to harvest. That should say if it can be used up to harvest. I will check.

Did just that. Saw a video that says. Low temp and high humidity are good to combat them. I sprayed her and put outside. She is not going back in tent. She staying somewhere around the house till she gets chopped this weekend

Man, I wish I’d caught you sooner: pyrethrins should never be sprayed on a flowering plant as it will destroy the flavor and make flower unsmokeable. The only products I recommend for spider mites is “Safer Caterpillar Killer”, “Captain Jack’s Dead Bug” and peroxide. A good wash down with peroxide would have likely done the job although any earlier in flower and it would dry out the leaves.
A bud wash in peroxide would be wise as well.

You might be able to make edibles. You could also let the plant be for another couple of weeks with some peroxide/water washes and see if it dissipates the pesticides.
For future reference I would not us anything that was toxic. The two products I listed are both specialized bacteria that target specific insect vectors without causing harm to people or pets.

If I get a bucket with water and peroxide and slam her there will it help since I just sprayed her a hour or so ago
When your grow is over I’d recommend spraying the tent down with straight peroxide twice around 7 days apart. That ought to nuke any mites in the grow space.
You can use peroxide for general disinfecting as well as pest control. The only concern is it will make leaves dry out and look scruffy with dry edges. Late in flower is no biggie as you’re going to remove most of that anyway.

The room I’m set up. Did not get used a lot. I believe dust may be the issue here. Since I read something about dust bringing in spider mites. But once I’m done with this grow I will fix the grow area up to have In top shape. I got boxes everywhere here. book shelf full of old books and stuff. Is dusty here.
