Quick answer, no

They will fatten up over the last few weeks of flowering, but the plant isn’t going to fill in the gaps between flowers.

You plant has gaps because it created the extra height while reaching for more light. Better lighting will resolve the issue of such large gaps between flowers.

There were monster fan leafs blocking them so I cut them off so the bud sites could get the lights

Buds don’t do anything with light and they don’t need light. Leaves need light to create the sugars a plant needs. The plant will shuttle the sugars where they need to go in the plant via the system of stems.

Agree… they will fatten up, but won’t fill in-between the nodes.
