JL-202 photocontroller good for marijuana growing?

A question from a fellow grower:

do u think I could grow one or two plants in my closet with this light I found a JL-202 photocontroller. 1800W tungsten, 1000VA ballast, 120VAC, 50/60Hz. Time delay of up to 2 minutes.

Looks like it has a lot of green light in it. Green light is practically useless to a plant, I’ve not heard of this light being used before.

The only light you can use without affecting plants in the dark / lights OUT photo period is a green light.

So; “Maybe” it would be useful if you needed to work in the grow room during the lights OUT cycle. However; This would be a personal choice and another chapter chalked up to experimentation and the learning process of growing MMJ
