I don’t know where you live but I like it 
I have super hard water here 535ppm. I have to make ro water, ppms are 12 when done. I then mix my water 50/50 tap and ro. leave out for 24 hours to remove the chlorine. When done. My ph starting point is close to 8 as well. add a lot of ph down. I always check what my water ppm is before I use it. So after I add nutes. I can tell more or less what I am at. This is a page from my ASC I did to give you an idea what notes I keep. The ph out is my run off as is the TDS. The first TDS is what I am feeding total, water and nutes. The very right shows how many cups of water or feed I gave and the out is the run off.
The numbers on the very left tell me what I fed and how much. It goes with with my feed chart above. I will re add so they are together to look at. Looking at the feed chart, A number 1 shows 1/4 strength, number 2 is 1/2 and so on. I like that no matter what grow I have done. The info I see is always the same. I just add more numbers when I had some thing else to try like bud candy or what ever.
I t sounds like your run off ph numbers are headed the right way

Well since yesterday’s watering with just the Cal/Mag they seemed to be responding ok. So much I think they are do for yet another trim!
Ha you can see them trying to complete for the light. I am going to go in and rectify all that right now lol.

We all know a PITA it can be watering with a SCROG so I’m Gonna try out the new water system tomorrow. Need to grab a manifold for it as well. But it feeds one gallon a minute at the moment. The lil pumps speed can be adjusted up or down. I just grabbed some T’s and made a circle with the 1/2 inch rubber hose. Plugged one end with som plastic and drilled some holes. Should work pretty good if it works as well as the weed outside I tested it on lol. But now I can make my water in one bucket and just pour enough per plant or simply mark the pump bucket still a work in progress lol.

With this you can leave em place. Even installing the rings. Probably have to reposition it eah feed sto it doesn’t wear on one spot but that’s not a biggy .

If I did a scrog I’d have to only do 2 plant on 2 separate nets and on rollers like @Not2SureYet has

I’m only into week 4 of veg. I’m going to do one more treatment for the spider mites then cut the clones. I haven’t seen anymore but @Myfriendis410 suggest a follow up treatment so that’s what I am gonna do lol. His advice has done me well thus far.
