Hey @Countryboyjvd1971 sorry been off here lately been working overtime I’m gonna post a few pics of my plants don’t laugh at them because they don’t look as good as yours brother and these plants are from seed I don’t ha e a grow room or anything I got lightening and that’s it I hope they make idc if it’s only a bud next year will be a lot different lol

@Countryboyjvd1971 I have 3 that size there 18 days old today I’ve only used water should I be using anything else yet I have the about 8 inches up off them and it’s just one of them spiral lights for a lamp bc I didn’t know what kind to use

No @jaon7615 those round leaves have enough nutrients in them to carry the plant for the first few weeks sobyou don’t need to feed anything to her just ph your water to 6.3 - 6.8 ph is where you want to be for soil
What soil type are you using ?
As far as lights you want to be in the 6400 k range for veg and 2800 for flower I believe when going with cfl
I only use leds the whole grow so I really don’t know much about the other types of light but let me tag a few folks for you on that

I’ve only done led myself @Countryboyjvd1971 but the CFL will work if you have enough of them.

Cfl bulbs emit 10-20% less light than a metal halide bulb so there no where near as powerful, however are close to mimicking all spectrum’s of the natural sun. Also very low heat put off.
Metal halide lamps emit 20 more than cfl bulbs but mainly in blue and white spectrum mainly producing chlorophyll A the most important spectrum for vegetative growth. They are said to increase potency in flowers because of the uvb rays contained in the lamp (provided by blue spectrum). Also have a pretty high heat output but covers more area.
Hps bulbs are almost the strongest lamps emitting off about 10% more light than a mh, also producing the chlorophyll b mainly used in promoting root or flower devlopement as it containers a red or far red spectrum. They have a really high heat has output however balances growth between canopy and roots of plant

I’d say most likely they are just building a root system since they are still young if I remember correctly
