I’ve been having a issue with my personal grow & I was wondering if you can help me figure out what I’m doing wrong ! I’ve tried a few different strains but still get the same results, airy loose non dense buds . I’ve tried 2 plants of lemon og , og kush , & ko kush each time , that’s 12 times of trying but still same result .
I have a 4 w × 4 l x 6 h room that was hand built with 2 x 4’s with 2 " insulation sheet panels & white plastic walls , ceilings , & floors for my personal room . I use a 400 watt mh & hps for my veg & flower cycle with a 200 cfm exhaust fan & filter that has plenty of air flow ! The room at night stays around 68 - 70 & day time between 73 - 75 , I use 2 sometime 3 exhale co 2 bags , With a swivel fan to blow on plants every 15 - 20 minutes !I've tried each strain twice with rx green solutions full line of ferts the with each strain i fed in veg 1 time a week & flower 1 time a week with a ph of 6.3 - 6.5 with every feeding & the ppm recommended by company with the light 14 - 16 inches above the plants but got big airy buds that smelled like straw ! Thru this process of each strain I was reading & doing research trying to figure out what I was doing wrong ! So bought a book called Marijuana Grow Basics by Jorge Cervantes & read it , so I got to thinking that it might be the ferts , so i switched to fox farms whole line of ferts i fed 1 time a week in veg & up to 2 times a week in flower keeping soil evenly moist not over watered , basically followed step by step from what the book says each week with the light at 14 - 16 " over 2 plants each time ph at 6.3 - 6.5 & ppm at recommended ppm by company but still same result ! The seeds I have bought cost $ 55 for 5 of each strain plus $ 7.00 shipping from a seed bank ! And I'm at the point I don't know what to do other than give up because I've spent alot of $ . I mean the plants have always looked beautiful, green , lush & full with no nutrient burn or light burn all the way thru the cycle , I just can't get them to produce full thick / dense buds properly & was wondering if you could give me some advice or notice anything out of the ordinary that I may be doing wrong , I would greatly appreciate it !
