Is treated well water good for my gals?

By “treated” what do you mean? Are you using a water softener in your well water?

Only reason I ask is because my water is well as well and my levels are always great, even after a hard hard rain.

Yes…my home has a very nice softener system…it also has a chlorinated in which I ad 1gal of Clorox to 10gal of water

I also have a spigot before the softener, so I can get water straight from the ground water if needed, or if that type of water would be better…we will be buying ph test strips as we begin our late season.

I use untreated well water with a ppm of 350ish

@Swampthang, skip the test strips and get you a digital PH meter.
