Hello, I have an Amnesia Haze AF growing in FFOF. The plant is on day 57. I have currently been watering about every 36 hours with FF Trio at about 35% of FF recommendation according to the pamphlet they send with it. The water reads 6.4 pH after nutrients are added. The tent temperature has been maintained between 70-75F. Humidity levels are between 45-53 averaging 50 RH. I am seeing yellow blotches appearing on the lower fan leaves. The flowers seem okay. I have two small fans running for air circulation and try to keep the plant out of direct air flow. Is this nutrient burn or what? What would be a recommendation to adjust? Thanks for the feedback!

The yellow blotches look like the start of a magnesium deficiency to me. Also looks like some slight tip burn and dark downward claw on some lower fan leaves, nitrogen toxicity. If I’m correct I would add (more) cal mag and reduce nitrogen a touch.

Thank you. How does one lower the nitrogen? The nutrients are set concentrations. The Grow Big has 6-4-4 and Buds&Bloom has 2-8-4? Reduce the amount of the percentage added to the water?

No problem! I would use less of the 6-4-4 per gallon.

I just watched a video while you were responding which made this statement: “You’re going to use Big Bloom and Grow Big at the beginning and Big Bloom and Tiger Buds at the end. The “in between” stages you will use all three.” That seems to corroborate exactly what you suggested; THANK YOU! I make half gallon batches of mix with adjusted percentages. So, “use less” of the Grow Big or “none” (according to the video) of the grow big at this time? Also, I understand Cal/Mag can be purchased at a local flower shop; how much to use for half gallon?

I was just thinking to myself based on where your at the 2-8-4 should carry the nitrogen you need from here on out. As for the cal mag yeah you can get it online or locally. Should be directions on the bottle. I’m using this

It is 1-2ml per gallon but they vary. Your welcome.

Hey,! What do you think of my daughter’s former “hot pink” bedroom? I can’t believe I let my wife talk me into that one; it was for her 14th birthday…she’s grown and gone now! I’m not even sure Kilz is going to cover that one up!!! LOL Maybe it will stimulate the plant! Or maybe it is causing the “light burn!”

Yeah, well…lol! I wore hip-hugger bell-bottoms and platform shoes when I was a kid, too! You know why! Because we didn’t have skinny jeans! And the jeans we had that had holes in them got there from over use; not pre-fab! My dad used to tell my little brother; “You sure do spend a lot of money to look like a bum!” LOLOL!
