I’m new to this forum and I’m also a beginner grower. I’ve attached three different views of my plant(s) and I’m just interested in any advise or how she’s doing and if I need to worry about the yellowing leaves near the bottom. This is the second time I’ve tried this from saved seeds. I planted them in late April/early May and I still have no flower. Is it to late to tell if they are male or female? ANY Help would be GREATLY appreciated.
@MJ50 I’m on the east coast as well don’t know where you are but you should be in preflower or flower mine just really started preflower about a week ago
After reading everyone’s messages I almost cut my MJ down, but then I saw something different. If you’re saying YES STILL ALL MALE, I’ll cut them down. Can I do anything with any part of the plant?
Hermaphrodism is possible but not in this case, it’s definitely a male, sorry @MJ50
You must take him away if you have other cannabis plants growing up and not have reach sex identification level… Do you have more than one cannabis plant growing right now? If so, post pictures and identify clearly them, please…
Male have to little cannibinoids in them, so no value except if you want to pollinate a female cannabis plant and have seeds…
Not to be a heretic, but it is possible that @MJ50 could keep her male plant. True, it will pollinate the females nearby, and may already have done so. And a male doesn’t have the same THC levels as females. On the other hand, that male will pollinate your female and you’ll have free seeds for years to come, and you can then trash all your future males. How many of us spent years picking seeds out of our weed, and we got plenty high and happy? It doesn’t help the ILGM business model, and I don’t mean to screw them over, because I’m a fan. But this is also about agriculture, no?
If I’m completely wrong (and it wouldn’t be the first time in my life), someone please correct me. I just thought I’d mention this option before MJ ripped the plant out of the ground.
