Done or not done hard to tell everything is orange but the very tops I tried some it was killer o its green crack

Still a lot of white pistils, you have several weeks left to go. Wait until they darken and recede, then check the trichomes for mostly milky with about 10% amber. Check the buds and not sugar leaves, they mature faster than buds.

I’m 8 weeks in everything is orange I don’t like to get the microscope out it never pays off

I would say, a majority of us use this exact method to determine the “when”. Not sure why you would say it “never” pays off. This is exactly how I determine when I am going to chop. For us to tell you when based on a bud shot is more of a guessing game than your decision since you have the plant in front of you. $20.00 on amazon will get you a nice USB micscope. Attach to your phone and you will have some amazing pics and no more guessing.
The above were taken only with a cheap $7.00 clip on to your phone camera. Not bad but the USB mic pics I have seen are incredible.
