Is hash from sativa and indica different?

Does anyone know the answer to this: does hash made from indica strains have more sedating properties than hash made from sativa strains, or do those properties come from things in the leaf remnants or calyxes of the buds? That is, are those compounds that differentiate the two strains found INSIDE the leaves or calyxes rather than within the trichomes on the surface that would be filtered through the screens when making bubble hash? If the trichomes contain pure THC (or rather, THC-A) then whichever strain I make hash out of shouldn’t matter. But if the compounds that induce the mellow high of indica, and the more energetic high of sativa, are present inside the trichomes themselves along with THC, then the two versions of hash should be different.

The hash will have just about the same effect as the buds.

The effect difference comes from the ratio of cannabinoids.
