Is a 3 gallon pot big enough for an indoor plant or should I transplant it?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

Is a 3 gallon pot big enough for an indoor plant or should I transplant it? I just received my 5 gal grow bags in the mail today. Attached is a picture of the plant. This is my first grow and I have not had any guidance other then reading online. Thank you

I normally use 5 -7 gal for photos and 2-3 gallon pots for autos indoors
Smaller pots will help control tbe size of the plants though
I would transplant to the soft pots if it was me
And get them out of the plastic

I used 3 gallon for indoor and found the roots almost too much for them and I have to water less and more often as a result of the small space. My grow is looking pretty good I think, but I will use 5 gallon going forward and veg longer. And I am a big fan of the “smart pots” or cloth pots.

The original question came from me. I did go ahead and transplant to the fabric pot. Thanks
