Is 7 gallons too much?

I have read that Gorilla Glue autoflower is a high yielding strain. I want to transplant my Gorilla Glue autoflower into a 7 gallon fabric pot before she starts to flower. She’s currently in a 3 gallon fabric pot. Is any pot over 5 gallons a waste of dirt, nutes etc. to grow autoflowers?

Probably a little overkill for most autos. That said, I’m a bit of a big pot fan. I grow photos in 10 gallon pots. My theory is that happy roots = happy plants.

Same here…I say “Go big or Go Home”

Using a bit more soil is not anything that I worry about. Soil is the cheapest component to my grows. I have been using FFOF but have switched to Root Organics Original for my next grow.

You will like that Roots Organic. I made the same switch 3 grows ago and haven’t looked back. No Ph issues lasts till flower and the girls love it!

I switched to Roots Organics Dry Nutrient line a couple of grows ago. It feels like cheating compared to liquid nutrients. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: So now the soil. It is the cheapest soil I can get because it is made just 40 miles away.

Alrighty then ! Let me get on it. I just transplanted my Durban Poison photo into 7 gal fabric pot from a 2 gal plastic pot. That pot is huge.

No pH issues? What’s the price of that soil? Where can I get it? I’ve been using FFHF and FFSF with 10-10-10 general fertilizer, earthworm castings and 2-2-2 Dr Earth general fertilizer with mychorraze. Yeah I misspelled it, sorry. Y’all know what I mean. :joy: Right now I’m out of everything except the GH.

I get it on amazon 39 bucks fills a 7 gal fab pot full with a little left over.

A couple of weeks ago I purchased three 1.5 cubic foot bags for $16 each. One bag will fill a 10 gallon fabric pot with a little left over.

Yep like a small tree. :joy:

That is a bummer. I wonder if Aurora Industries (Roots Organics folks) could send a pallet out there cost effectively?
