Is 7.75 ph to high

So I just tested my ph in my actual water and it was 7.75. Is that ok I know it’s a little high or do I need to add Epsom salt to the water to bring it down?

If soil, you want it in between 6.2-.8. If in coco you want 5.8-6.0. If in organic, living soil, you’re fine. I use citric acid crystals to drop pH. Only takes a tiny pinch.

It is high. The guys have you covered. Was always an issue for me till living soil. I know for a FACT you can flat out kill an auto or 3 or a scrog being lazy and not checking. If yours fluctuates like mine in reservoir then you are never dialed in using tap. Always check…sigh.

Ive killed em for sure. Learned from every one. My idea of killin is a never fully recover and produce. Sail pretty calm seas anymore. Only gave up on a couple auto. Sitting on 15 5gal and a 20gal. all stages right now. Winter set.

Actually temp control in winter allows me to filler up. Summer i lose a light and speed up my rails to drop temp. Run less plants. And most important…go on many short vacations on the Goldwing…:rofl::rofl:

I bought some ph down that should take care of it. Epson salt did some But I had use a ton It felt like just to get it down a little
