Infusion filtering

Is there a way to reduce the infusion taste and smell of the oil? Maybe some extra filtering process? I made some but I am hoping on the next batch to tone the smell down and or add a flavor to help.

Welcome to ILGM forum. Sorry I can’t answer question. But there’s a couple of people on forum that may be able to help. @blackthumbbetty

You’re talking budder or cannacoconut oil infusions?

After processing and cooling/hardening, you can “wash” your infusion. After pouring off any water left in your budder, you’re going to remelt your budder and add clean boiling water, mix it together, then allow the budder to resolidify again before pouring off the water.

Thank You BT,

I used an Ardent to Decarboxylate then infuse to an MCT oil. I strained through cheesecloth but didn’t know how to reduce the smell and taste any further from there.
