Indoors grow, led

New to journals, hope I’m doing it right.
This lady was just switched over after 7 weeks in veg. Using DWC with GH nutes, 450w Bestva led light and root spa buckets.

out.

  1. Indoor or outdoor? - size of grow?

Indoor, 10x10 tent. 2 in tent in bloom, 11 in another tent in veg, but close to moving over.

  1. Otigin of seeds?

ILGM, Purple Punch, her sister was right beside her, same age, only 1/2 as tall

  1. Regular, feminized, or autoflower?

Feminized

  1. Origin of water. PH, EC/TDS of source water?

Well water, PH 6.22, PPM 84
Which is I think my biggest downfall, how to adjust ph and PPm correctly

  1. PH and TDS/EC of if mixed solution?

PH 5.48, PPH 767

  1. Grow method? Soil, Soil-less, Coco, Hydro, Aquaponics. Please explain.

Hydro, root spa buckets, switching over to ebb and flow soon. Clay pebbles

  1. Nutrients or fertilizer system used.

GH nutes, rootgaurd, switched to Lucas 2 weeks ago.

  1. What typr of lighting are you using? LED, HID (MH, CMH, HPS), or Fluorescents? Please elaborate.

Bestva 4000, 450w, LEDs

  1. What are the temps in your growspce? Day / Night?

Running heater at 72, but with only two plants right now temps are running 69 lights off and 72 lights on. 12/12 cycle

  1. What is the RH = relative humidity in your growspace? Day / Night?

45% currently, usually about 50-55

  1. AC, Humidifier, De-humidifier?

Have A/C, Humidifier & De-Humidifer, depending on time of year for what I have running

  1. Do you have a Ventilation system? Size? 4", 6"?

Have 2 8” A/C infinity fans, 1 intake 1 outtake with carbon filter

  1. Co2 Yes / No?

No

  1. How long have you been growing?

Little less then 1 year, walked in knowing NOTHING, read books, internet, then stumbled upon this forum and amazed at what I didn’t know that I thought I did.

  1. What budget have you set in order to grow successfully?

Haven’t set a budget, mostly due to JUMPING in and getting wrong stuff, mostly lights, the root spa DWC system works, but a lot of maintenance, so soon I will be ebb and flow 12 pot DWC with 60 gal res and my first chiller.

  1. If you grow hydro, then please explain your hydro method. DWC, R-DWC, Ebb and Flow, Or;
    Other? Other?

16b. Size and temperature of solution in reservoir?

Now buckets are running about 65 to 67, but was higher. Thanks to this forum I got it corrected.

I’m seeing a lot of PNW people on here. Although I don’t love there now, but I was born and raised in the PNW for the first 53 years of my life.

I end up doing some on most plants in some shape or form. I think this is an excellent form of growing to maximize better flower structure, as well as yields.

Got sidetracked and didn’t finish last post.
Just ordered a Green Beam GB4 480w, with Cree 660mn red Diodes, will see how that helps.
This girl just got a trim, 2 weeks into bloom, ILGM Purple Punch, first week adding Silica to the nutes.

In the other space, a look for your enjoyment of my 4 Blue Dream (ILGM) at 6 weeks veg, will switch them in a week or so, I only grow fem at this time.

Ok, I’ve been slacking here. I have everything switched over to ebb and flow with a 60 gallon res and a chiller. When the lights go off at 10 am I will get some pics. I’ve started some LST, and I’ve upgraded my lights.
10x10 tent, water 68, tent temp 79 with lights on, 70 with lights off. I vented the A/C exhaust outside and the air intake comes from outside. PH is 5.99, and PPM is running high at 2800. I can add 20 gallons of straight well water and PPM only comes down about 100, not sure now how to get it down more. I have 12 plants at different stages of bloom, but 9 are week 6 in bloom. Mixture of Blue Dream, Purple Punch, Chocolalupe, G-13, Black Widow, and 2 more.
They are drinking about 25 gallons every 4 days. They are not very tall but the stocks are big and very thick.
Will post pics in about 1 hour.

My lady Purple Punch, after 3 weeks and 2 days into bloom. Water temp 67, tent temp 70 lights off, 85 lights on, oh 5.77, PPm 3520 I know it’s high but adding straight water, 20 gallons in a 60 gallon res only lowers it 100 to 200. This lady is under a Bestva 450w led light.

Ok, the above two pics were taken today, with the ebb and flow, 60 gallon res and water chiller, I think I finally have a handle on most of this.
My PH is running 5.77 to 6.08, water temp 68, tent temp 70 with lights off, 80 to 85 with lights on. 10x10 tent, 5 clip on 10 speed fans and 2 tower oscillating fans. 1 GB4 480w led, 5 Bestva 450w leds and 1 300w led. I have my A/C vented out the window and the 6” intake fan pulling air from outside.
My question is how to lower PPM?
With the 60 gallon res, I wait until the water is low enough to add 20 gallons of pure well water and it only lowers it from 3500 to 3300.
Is the PPM that important?

Ppm is very important to low plants will starve to high and they can get nutrient burn and other deficiencies or toxicities. Being a little high is not terrible long as plants don’t show signs of issues or stress I wouldn’t worry but yes always try to aim for the correct target range of ppm for the stage of the plant
