Under small led cab light.
Very late start. So starting inside because of extreme heat. Will transition outside after seedling stage and short veg stage and will be in 5 gal fiber pot. New spider veg light should be in wed. Along with PH meter. FIRST GROW.
3 days old. Got the new Spider 1000 hooked up. Its bright. Maybe they will start really growing now. Also my bluelab ph pen came in. Fixin to check soil. I plan on adding a reflective r board box around the area shortly. Here we go….
@SippiGrower Hey bro! Welcome to the forum, sounds like your on the right track before you put it outside, i would drench the leaves (top & bottom) with some neem oil. Also after you put it in the ground I would sprinkle some diatomaceous earth on the “dry” soil. Just some critter protection! If you live somewhere where it gets hot, I’m talking 90’s & up? Put it someplace where it will get some shade. The sun will fry it, if it gets to hot!! I don’t know anything about white widows, never grew them. Ive only been growing for about 9 months. So im still a rookie lol. I’ve learned alot from my brother’s and sisters on here, really helpful and good people maybe you can tag @Newt, @OGIncognito, @Fieldofdre
ams, @Dennis62, @CooterJuice, @Coonass@SilvaBack203@dbrn32. & many more for my first grow i bought some dashboard reflectors & incirlcled my girls. I made it 3x3. Im not sure if it helps, but it certainly won’t hurt. Tag me anytime!! If i can’t help, ill direct you to people who can:+1: Happy growing grow bro …here’s a couple pic’s from when I was using the reflectors & what i have going now. 3 muffin monster’s (photos) & a granddaddy purple a (
You don’t necessarily need to tent or box them. However, it offers the benefit of a smaller area in which to control the environment, as well as it will reflect the light and prevent some otherwise wasted photons. I’ve not grown WW, so don’t have any insight with the strain. And I haven’t grown outdoors.
that’s the key, slow intro to the outdoors over several days for a few hours at a time. The WW is a hearty and resilient strain! Very grower friendly and some killer smoke . Appreciate the tag @Brainsacco1
Thanks for the replies!!! I don’t think I’m going to put it outside until stinky flower time. Heat will break by then and daylight should be reduced close to 12 by then.
Would adding another 100w spider 1000 be enough for veg? Or should scale up a bit?
You certainly won’t need more light for several weeks. But as they get bigger, more light would be preferred. Check out HLG. (Horticulture Lighting Group) They make killer lights, and if you just want to veg the 2 plants, a Diablo 200 would do that. If you wanted to flower indoors. the Daiblo along with the SF 1000, should be able to do that as well.
