Indoor hydro grow

@Borderryan22
Topped this morning, all but Donkey Butter, left 4 nodes on each, Donkey Butter only has 3 nodes, waiting for one more on her.

How aggressive should I be on fan leaves?

If I’m just topping with a little LST, then I leave the fans for a bit. The branches will eventually grow past them and you can tuck them. Looks great!!!

Tuck? Not familiar with most terms used on here[quote=“Borderryan22, post:42, topic:100402, full:true”]

Tucking the fan leaves under branches, so that the growth is over the leaves.

Thank you

@Myfriendis410
Have a question, I saw another journal where someone was on suspension, and a comment was made about other seed banks. I’m wondering if this journal should not be here as these seeds did come from a different source. I have no issue removing it if that’s the case.
I buy 90% of my seeds from ILGM, but occasionally like to try something different.

We have no problem journaling other seed banks products. It’s all good.

Are you pulling temp numbers from each individual planter or just your main res… ?
If these are res temps then your planters are running a bit higher than 71 more than likely…
Plant’s are lookin good…
I just put some girl’s into flower 2 day’s ago…
I need to post some pics on my thread… :grin:
Is this an ebb and flow system… ?
If so , disregard what i said about your planters…
But i would still lower water temps to 68 if possible …

Yes, it’s Air Cube ebb and flow with water chiller, I will lower the chiller to 68

65 / 67 is a good balance … :ok_hand:

Have the water chiller set at 65, it shows actual temp at 67, I’m sure when it pumps into the ebb and flow it’s probably around 69 or so. I have it set to flood for 15 minutes every 2 hours. With that said, the 6” rock wool cubes never completely dry out.

Using a UNT-T UT 383 light meter, I am averaging 40 to 41 LUX on all six plants, plants are between 3 & 4 weeks in veg stage, planning on going 6 to 7 weeks of veg. Will raise the lux to 45 later this week, then to about 50 to 55 lux when I return from Alaska, which is when I will switch to bloom stage.

Changed res this morning,
60 gallon reservoir
1 cup 4 tablespoons silica, let stand 30 minutes.
PPM 320, PH 770
1/2 cup 2 tablespoons Hydrogaurd PPM 750 PH 3.02
8 tablespoons cal/mag PPM 746 PH 420
3 1/2 cups 4 tablespoons GH FloraGro PPM 766, PH 7.04
2 1/2 cups GH FloraMicro PPM 1090 PH 6.97
1 1/4 cup GH FloraBloom PPM 1340 PH 6.72
8 tablespoons PH down, PPM 1480 PH 5.96

I know the PPM is a little high, not sure the best way to get it down, unless I put in less nutes, but then my PH will be higher and I will have to add more PH Down.
Any suggestions?

Pull some nutrient solution out , like 10 gallons and add back in freash water and in a couple of days top off with the nutrient solution so it dont go to waste…

Pulled out 11 gallons, added 15 gallons of fresh well water, lowered PPM to 1120, still a little higher then I want but will live with it.
I’m thinking the only way to get it down when I change res is to lower the amount of nutrients it calls for.
