Wow! They are looking great for no nutes at all! I hope they stay in check for you!
Yeahā¦ I decided to listen to all those Fox Farms folks who say they never use nutes until flower, and just see how these plants do in their Ocean Forest soil without any supplementsā¦ and so far, they donāt seem to be hurting. I hope they donāt show any big deficiencies all of a sudden, but Iām paying attention, and can always give them a little boost of Grow Big if they need it.
They look really really good. Need a hand? Lol
Always. Youāre grow in the fridge looks mighty fine. Now Iām just getting anxious for these buds to stack up and pile on some weight. I donāt know why Iām so impatient. I look at the BOM and bud porn posts and just ache, but I have no complaints about this process so far. Itās fun. And Iām always happy for any input that anyone has.
Just a bit longer. That flower tent is about to explode on you. Looking mighty fine. If i do say so myself
I trimmed the canopy to allow the light to reach some lower buds. (This is one of two piles of leaves I removed.)
And you really canāt tell that Iāve removed anything.
'Hoping this does more good than harm!
Looks great
Everything you took off looks good enough for a salad, too. Keep doing whatever youāre doing.
Thanks dude. Coming from you, that means something. If my Mary Jane Eyre and Mary (Jane) Magdalene in that tent can churn out anything close to your Betty and Indie, I will be over the moon!
Iāve got a couple of concerning spots on my leaves. Does anyone have any ideas what this is?? (The yellowing of the leaf underneath - in the first and last photo - is as concerning as the brown spots, I think.)
I fed them yesterday (1tsp/gal FF Tiger Bloom, 6tsp/gal Big Bloom, Ā¼ tsp/gal Beastie Bloom).
The pictures below are duplicates (with different lighting) of two spots. This isnāt widespread yet, but if itās a problem, Iād like to catch it before it becomes a bigger issue.
That my friend i do not know. Going from the random spot n u just fed im inclined to think nute water spill. Hopefully its nothing
Are you feeding any calmag? And can I ask why only 1 tsp per gallon of Tiger Bloom? Iād be going at them full strength since theyāre in flower. Looks like a little P and K deficient too
Thanks @PurpNGold74 & @MattyBear. I have not been supplementing with calmag, and perhaps should be. Iāve just ordered some from Amazon.
I was easing into full strength bloom nutes, since I burned them with Grow Big nutes in veg and didnāt want to repeat that. Last week I gave them 1 tsp of Tiger Bloom, and only 1/8/gal of of Beastie Bloomz and 4 tsp/gal of Big Bloom. I upped the Beastie Bloomz to the recommended dose this week, and I think I am at the recommended dose with Big Bloom as well. Tiger Bloom could still go up another tsp, and next week Iāll also begin to add Cha Ching as well. I appreciate your input!
Sorry to be late but Cal/Mag will fix her right up - I would remove those leaves as they are not going to get any better and just drain the plant of resources.
Thanks @Momtomask. Iāve done some trimming, and will start using Cal/Mag with Saturdayās watering. Tomorrow, Iāll stir in a Tbsp of unsulphered molasses into a gallon of water to get them some cal/mag asap.
I hope I havenāt screwed up their yield too much with this mistake that I clearly should have been on top of ever since I switched over to using RO water - too long ago. Oh well. Live and learn.
If you have Epsom salts, they are good for magnesium
Thanks @MattyBear. Yeah, my wife has some Epsom salts for the bath. But I thought that molasses would do the same thing, essentially, and would also kick in the calcium (and a little sugar )ā¦ and if I was choosing between adding salt or sugar, wellā¦
Do both. 5ml of each should do the trick
Roger that. Wait. How do I measure Epsom salts in ml? Iāve got grains of salts.
Ohā¦ I have a shot glass measure and that makes it easy. Just add a pinch
