Impatience or issues

I flipped this plant to 12/12 7 days ago. Still not a single pistil. And very little stretching, though quite a bit of shrubbery growth. I already trimmed hard once after I flipped it. Am I being impatient, or is there an issue. It’s in a 2x4 tent, no light leaks. One pic is when I flipped it, and just now.

They take around 11 to 14 days before youll see any preflowers. I also wouldnt be defoliating right now. She needs all her energy to grow.

Difficult to be patient.
Fast visible veg growth stopped and you’re rightfully panicked.
Difficult to remember that 18/6, is 50% longer grow day than 12/12
or winter growing is slower than summer (in my house).
I was and at the same time, my PH pen screwed my feeding.
All growth stopped and I lost\my patience, re-flipped back to veg (not prettty), cleared PH issues, removed 30% hermis and re-flipped.
Could/should have cleared w/o the flippings.
Got no patience, but plenty of patients.
Ebb has it right,

Takes time for the girls to think about when they want to grow up. But, I don’t think it would hurt to do a tad of lst to get some light and air in there.

I just thinned it out a bunch. We’ll see what happens. Not been my favorite grow up to this point. OG kush.

All good things take a couple of weeks whether it’s waiting on flowers or harvesting flowers…Patience is a virtue.

Im sure you will have a couple pistils in a day or two, as long as plant is mature. Defoliating has alot of opinions by people. I pluck some all through the grow. Just dont take too much at once. Week b4 flip, day 21 and 42 of flower is very common for a aggressive defol. Some people dont, i have always got alot more defoliating then without.

@beachglass I hope I did a 'Light" trim to open these ladies to the light, more.
This might be a good example of what not to do, a.k.a. Terminal Trimmers Disease.
My beard or mustache often is infected with TTD, but not my Chrome Dome, or else.

Pictured is my NK! advised heavier trim prior to re-veging.
Lady is Reveg 2.0, my second round of reveging. Crown cut and hanging for cure.
Tent space causing tent terminal roulette time, game, daily.

I went ahead and did a fairly aggressive trim to open it up a little more. Will probably end up doing it again.

Just because we flip the lights, does not mean she is ready. I veg and LST until I see her sex and then flip. If she has not shown her sex at the same time you flip to 12/12, it could take up to 3 weeks to see buttons. I did not see any mention of if she was ready in your OP.

I didn’t think of that. It had been vegged for 6 weeks. I did a fairly heavy defoliation yesterday, watered it using some cal mag, recharge, and fish sh!t, and today I can hardly tell I touched it :). Pics are yesterday before defoliation, after, and today.

Here is an example of what I got goin now. BB Muffin and the day I saw her sex.

If you zoom in you can see a few of the pistils. I was still vegging at 13 weeks to get the canopy where I wanted. I flipped right after and at 14-1/2 weeks, this is what I found so it still took me 7-10 days to actually see a button.

We also have the same light.

Correct, doesn’t matter what light schedule is if plants aren’t mature. You can usually veg about 5 weeks and flip then be 2 weeks or so before seeing any pistils. Some just take a little longer.
