The beast known as bud rot has started…luckily, I checked the glands on the clones and they are ready.
Caffeine/GC

And after

Purple Punch

Cut the infectes tops off that also. Don’t know why the pic didn’t take, but you get the point.
I had a handful of cuts that I discarded.

Berry Pie is getting cut tomorrow also.

I chop early morning before the sun rises.
I hang them in the drying boxes (Uhaul Grand wardrobe boxes with the metal arm across the top. ) and let them hang until they are dry. I have 4 boxes I use,and I just have to make sure I tag them properly. (Oh, and I also take a box cutter and cut holes at the bottom of the boxes for ventilation.)
On average I find that clones finish outdoors faster than the seedlings. I don’t mind the staggering,it allows only a few drying at a time.
Trim jail, here I come! :+1:

@krismwright I know you just chopped PBS. I have to run Super Yahmba next year!

After deliberation-I will take the hit for the bud rot. I went over notes, and realized my irrigation practice me be suspect. I went and changed the days from EVERY to 3x’s a week.

I also noticed a clone I purchased (NS) may have been sensitive to the moisture, and developed PM. Once again, I felt like I was creating too much moisture in the environment. I have sprayed with a sulfur-based product-since I still have a few weeks left for the remainders. Initially I was headed outdoors with a hatchet-but I saw this problem as an opportunity to learn something new. Went to the local nursery and got this-

I am still trying to dial-in the perfect schedule for living soil. Of course I went way to the extreme-now I can dial it back some.

Keep on truckin! :facepunch:

Ill try to post some pics and the finished product of it…This years at least…Last years got decimated by caters and I threw it out!!!

@AL_GREEN Good lookin’ out! For some flavors,I wait until a review is posted. And you got me wondering…

I’m in Cali-and the forest fires are at it again. I hope the remainder of my garden can make it to “cloudy land.” :crossed_fingers:

All those plants look amazing! Rot sucks. I’m stating to think of it as the cost of being able to grow outdoors. Cutting down on watering should help as long as the soil doesn’t get too dry.

@Naturalmedsman and that is the jist…not too dry. I hear ya :facepunch: I even thought of emptying my containers, adding more pumice, and replanting.I use porous bags with holes-Rainscience- but I just may have to do that once everyone is done.
On to other news…
Okay, so I am drying my ladies in the garage. Nosy neighbors could smell the stench and thought I had a gas leak. The utility company came by to do an inspection. “We got a call of a gas leak…”

The guy walked to my backyard and goes,“Oh…but they smell good, bro” I almost gave him an 1/2OZ just for the inconvenience :face_with_open_eyes_and_hand_over_mouth:

But he did his rudimentary check with a probe, and no leaks found.
Haters gonna hate.

Watch your 6.
