I'm doing side lighting... anyone else?

Hey Gromies! Looking for any feedback and or suggestions. Now mind you…i am aware that some question the vertical hanging of lights that aren’t specifically designed to do so. I’d love to hear any first hand experience if any of you have some. I myself am running a HLG 65V2 on each end of my 5x9 tent. They’re on timers to go on a half an hour after the big lights turn on and go out a half an before the big lights go out. I am running 2 HLG 650R so there’s no need to question my canopy lighting :wink:.

Awesome looking grow happening mate!
I believe @Hellraiser may have played with side/ under lighting. And I believe @dbrn32 could probably chime in being the lighting wizard (and I know a fan of HLG lights).

Hanging that small of light vertically probably won’t be to much of an issue.

@dbrn32 I was kind of waiting for you to stop in! 130 more watts I think is just right. I wouldn’t/ couldn’t try much more…temps would be a pain to control. I’ve checked the temps on the drivers regularly. As I’m sure you know… they don’t run hot at all.
