Sorry for my late response @Bonjoyle, I had some issues that commanded my attention.
I go by the trichs, color to decide when it’s time to switch to ph’d water only. So I can’t give an exact time, it’s more just a visual thing for me, it could b completely different for u. As for the temps, my basement generally runs n the low 60’s n the summer, n the high 50’s n the winter. So it’s easily controlled, with a trip to the big home center, r a visit to Amazon. My day temps r controlled by the same methods, I like it to swing from low 60’s up to the mid 70’s,
On a side note ur entry into BOM is stellar my friend, it’s hard as hell to get a decent bud shot with a white back round. Something u accomplished beautifully, my friend. .
I played around with a few options. Gonna buy my wife a better camera soon. We borrowed a friends and although it is a nice Canon EOS, I did not think it produced the visual representation I was looking for.

To b able to highlight the diff. colors, n get the debt of perception, is brilliant. Just throwing some props ur way my friend, u earned them. Stay lit cause otherwise it’s out,

Ive heard people mention on here that there should be a bud porn friday, I agree with that & i think there should also be a cola Saturday? Sometimes people don’t know the difference!

I think your bom contest should have a blind judging. No names just your bud pic till after the voting is done. @Ontrack. Great bud im not raining on your parade, but i have felt this way for awhile.
No offense taken here, I appreciate the compliment! I’ve never given it any thought before, but it does make sense to me. I don’t see why anyone wouldn’t like the idea.
I took it as @W.B.elpaso wants even the submissions falling under the anonymity category, and the members name is given at the same time as who voted for who.
@brownsfan100 you got it. I see some buds up in there that get no notice when they should. I cant be the only person who is seeing this happen. Not sure if people are just voting for there friends but i know what a good bud looks like. Some of these winning buds are just not adding up with the rest of the compitition. White haired tiny and immature. Come on man!!!
If we were to do anything like that would most likely be to just limit who can vote on entries, and that’s not the point of the contest. This is supposed to be something fun for the community to take part in with a little bit of bonus for the winner. It’s something we want to do, not something we have to do. Lets not make it complicated.
this is how i vote brother for the reason stated above, i look at the buds and do my best not to look at the names and when i found the one that interests me then i vote. ill be honest with all my votes has been someone i didnt know and only 2 that were my friends. i want to be fair as can be.
