I think I screwed up my grow! Can anyone verify light stress?

Hi, 's
I recently upgraded my grow light and tent from being grown in my sort of cool garage, I think I have light stress, can anyone verify? I use Berman’s fertilizer and Happy Frog Ocean blend soil. I am not too confident on my PH meter (it’s one of those stick in the ground cheap ones) but it reads 8 ph. I do not want to mess with the soil if you guys think its a light problem? the first picture is two days ago when I changed my system, the second is today.

Welcome to the forum.

The prong probe for measuring pH is worthless. The only thing on those probes that work halfway decent is the moisture meter.

Please answer these questions as best you can. It will help us help you.

How old is the plant? Do you know your runoff pH and PPM? How quickly after your last transplant did you begin feeding the Bergman’s? How often are you watering?

Worthless. Invest in an Apera or a Bluelab and Standard Reference Solution.

You are experiencing nute burn.

Oh Snap!

I use Bergmans nutrients, and I am on Growtime they are 5 weeks old. What should I do? flush with distilled water? I have some brush doctor, what do you think about using that? Thank you!

First I’d invest in a PH and TDS meter. Any of the $15 ones on the A will do for TDS but spend a bit more for a decent PH meter. Once you have that you can perform a flush using those meters and should reset your plant. FYI the damaged leaves will not recover and look to new growth for improvement.

Hi There,
I do have a PH and TDS meter for hydroponics, but forgive me, I do not know how that would work with a soil grow. I have pruned the damaged leaves and flushed the plants with water, fingers crossed! Thank you so much for your help

When you flush it’s good to take a sample at the start and again at the finish to see what quantity of salts are coming off the media. That tells you a: what your issue is and b: know where you are after a ‘reset’. It’s a very useful tool to help keep the plant in the sweet spot.

got ya! Thank you very much!
