I have a full grown sprout - what do I do now?

A customer has a question and I hope we can get some opinions on it, thanks

“I got a seed, I germinated it for to long, and it became a full grown sprout, what do I do now?”

do you have a germination box or clone box

I did this! Plant it. Just leave the little yellow leaf out of the soil. Don’t worry about it. I’d also advise taking the shell of the seed off it head very carefully and putting it under a light for 24 hours til she perks up.

How is someone asking Becky this and not the community…? And also how doesn’t Becky know the answer when she’s support? Le strange

This is how the support team directed me to the support forum the first time I asked a question. Becky might be sales support . I think pretty much all of the grow mentors and moderators are on a volunteer basis just to help people become competent growers . I have always wondered which on of the grow names we always chat with are actually Robert cruising under the radar.

I think he would be proud of what has come of his company and his site for that matter the forum is the best thing out there and his seeds there’s hardly any that compare I would pick any of his strains over another company any day just because I know I’m going to get it and it’s 100% legit I’ve been satisfied for over a year thanks @ILGM.Support @RobertBergman

@McLovin777 lmfao
I’m sure Becky either knows or has access to the answer
She’s only posting on the behalf of the customer who is not a member of the forum
Hopefully they will see the responses and decide to join us In The garden
Plant it and get it under some light :grin::+1:

Speaking of endangered sprouts, can anyone describe what types of problems sprouts can have that would motivate big growers to toss them out?

I’m quiet interested in the plant’s biology. For example, I let a couple of buds on a LowRyder#2 sit around a very long time, trying to understand how dark the tri-chromes might get. They still haven’t all darkened, but those branches made pollen and fertilized one of them.

A sickly green seed fell out before it could develop spots. I was curious if that sickly looking seed could grow. It did indeed sprout in 5 days. But it’s having problems getting to the second set of real leaves. The first set is very short and round, like the embryo didn’t form compeltely, and the next set isn’t coming out at all.

Can seedlings with a hard start in life fully recover? And can their DNA actually be altered by the way they were created, assuming they’re S1 seeds?

@danl999 I’d say post some pictures because we can’t really give you any good info without knowing/ seeing them. Post a new topic in the forum and maybe you’ll get more responses most likely.

Make a salad. I like Italian dressing! LOL! Seriously, you have a 3 or 4 inch container right? Make sure the soil is moist and make a small hole about 1 inch deep. Gently drop the sprout in seed side up and cover. I start them under a smaller CFL light until they get bigger.
