@IslandGrown76 i think I got it figured out….was running on low so I bumped it up to medium, adjusted the hose and it’s a lot less drippage….I set a container under the hose as from my understanding when using the hose there’s just gonna be some condensation that drips but I think I got it pretty minimized
I was ha ing the same problem with mine, so i eventually just moved mine inside the tent and stopped uaing the hose. Im only growing 1 plant rught now (my 1st grow) so the space it takes up is okay.
That is a pretty purple. Mine still need to fatten up but I have some with the pink in it. Not sure of the strand. Nice flower.
So…I didn’t want to get too excited….but! After much careful studying of the basics, I think I have a couple of pretty decent little gals started!
Started the seeds in a cup of room temp water…with a few drops of peroxide…thank you @merlin44 for the most helpful post early on…sprouted much quicker than previously! and I planted in fox farms happy frog on 9-6. Two days later one little one broke soil! Previously it was like a week or more before I’d see something….since then temp in the tent has been a steady 77° with 60-62% humidity…I’ve kept a clear dome over the seedlings for several days. Today, this is what they look like! The seed is still stuck on the one, but I’m not terribly worried at this time and sure don’t want to mess with it. Here’s a pic.
@IslandGrown76 thank you for your help thus far, I am more than appreciative! I’m ready for the next round of your advise and guidance!
Great man! Thats a fun stage…so far so good!
Im still a noob but that feeling when first break through soil was very satisfying.
@AL_GREEN thanks!! Now that it’s going much better this stage is fun for sure…love the changes i see every day!
@Allingamer right!!! I feel that when we graduate from the noob stage it will still be just as satisfying
Congrats! And welcome to the community, you’re in great hands here. Happy growing.
When your plants get bigger and start consuming a gallon of water a day each, you might want more RO water than your under-sink tank can hold. Many of us in that situation tap off the RO system with a T connector and run a line to a 55 gallon barrel or 5 gallon bucket. or whatever, with a cheap $20 float valve in it. Then the RO can fill up a bigger container for you to use when needed. Install a couple push-on valves in the right places, and you can isolate the barrel/bucket from your under-sink tank and not run your drinking water dry while it’s filling the bucket. A bucket is easy to empty, whereas a barrel takes more consideration for getting the water back out.
Just something to think about for possible future planning.
That’s awesome!! What strains?
Thanks for that insight a bunch! I didn’t think about that but the tank would not hold enough at all, appreciate the advice
Amnesia Haze and Northern Lights (still has the seed) are the strains
You can gently remove the seed hull. It has happened to all of us growers before. Carefully just nudge it off.
@IslandGrown76 thank you for that very much! I wasn’t sure if it would hurt it or not, I’ll gently remove it
Seed came off rather easily thank you! Growth has been outstanding! This morning though I noticed these spots on the first real leaves, it’s been about two weeks so I’m not sure if I should add nutrients yet or if this might be normal or possibly something with the water?
They look good…Dont freak out on the spots or irregularities…(I know I did the first times growing ) I think someone mentioned that it may be water/nutes got splashed on it or it maybe too hot of a soil etc… sorry I cant remember which But like I said don’t worry about it…Those leaves wont matter much once the growth picks up…
