@Careg A couple of things I might point out, I’m against teaching to defoliate within flower cycle. …But, right away from your pictures, I see that on you plant you’ve cut the pedioles in half, leaving part of the pediole still on the stem. This style of open wound could possibly lead to the introduction of disease to the plant. If ever removing a leaf, it’s best to make sure you remove all the pediole, flush with the stalk. NO! You should not. The fan leaves have a purpose and will die off in late flower by them selves.
