Hydro Crunch Lights?

Hello!, New here and New indoor growing, got the Hydro Crunch Grow kit, 31x31x60 tent, 4" booster fan attached to the 100cfm carbon filter w/ 3ft ducting out the 4" vent, small fan from outside in lower duct for clean air along with the vents at bottom. Soil is FF only ,nuits are fox farm trio, seeded in pods now with Ph 6.0 22ppm water for germinating in tent …temp is 82-88°f. Outside the tent temps are hot 80-95 some days! Once they pop I’m gonna need the lights and there starts my problem…Temp! I’m gonna put a window AC in if I have to but still worried about aid flow. Also I have 2 Co2 canisters one 3 month and one one month.
3 Questions…
1, Anyone have exp with these lights? Good? Bad?
2, thinking I’m gonna be needing a bigger carbon filter and fan…6" booster fan 270cfm too much with the other fan 100cfm? Or can I run them both?
3, When do I start the Co2?

Oh… seeds are 2 Feminized Gold Leaf
and 2 Feminized Sinfully Sour! U will try to post some pics for all, I have grown outside with good success but cannot now sooooo here we go!
Thanks for any suggestions!

Had to edit and add I will be Scroging this grow also.

Which lights are you referring to. They make or at least put their logo on a few different ones. If you’re talking about the LEDs their typical epistar junk that are probably less than half the wattage they claim. But they will grow plants just not great at it. As far as the rest of their stuff it’s probably decent quality for a starter setup. And this is personal opinion but no need to waste money on the CO2 as you most likely won’t have enough light to need extra.

Looks like I didnt give the watt,
The 2 Hydro crunch lights are Full spectrum 300w LED each with veg, and bloom switches

Yeah that’s the epistar ones. They probably are closer to around 120 to 140 watts at the wall. Not great but with 2 of them you could grow 2 or 3 plants decent enough.

Sorry I don’t mean for that to sound so negative. It’s a personal pet peeve the way these companies intentionally lie and market their lights way above what they actually are.

Yea it a starter set up for sure but have see them used before but never heard of these lights they say full spectrum 300 w LED each , but I do have a 1000 watt MH with reflector and adj ballast but it seems it would get too hot and it’s a energy hog. If I have too I’ll get better lights , just wondered if anyone has had success with them ,I know there cheap but ya gotta do what ya gotta do… just lookin to learn more.

No biggie man, I’m the same way , itll get better just gettin started indoor . I posted a bit more above

Yeah the 1000 mh would be to much for that space. Really with those 2 lights in that tent you’ll be fine. Are there better yes of course. But the better the lights the higher the price and I know the budget crunch all to well.

Those lights are comparable to most the other blurple (color of the light) lights on the market. And there’s plenty of people out there growing good stuff with them. As for temps that’s a good plan on the bigger fan. The tent should have vents at the bottom you’ll want them open and enough air being extracted by the fan to keep it moving. You might also want to invest in a small clip on fan or two to blow across the plants.

It came with a small clip on, I have it stuck in the side 6" vent and all bottom vents are open AND a 12 escalating fan out side the side bottom vent blowing g in and it’s Still 88° by the seed germ pods, with the exhaust fan and filter on also, gonna clip it inside mabey that will help. I gonna beat this thing BEFORE I these things sprout! Lol
The room it’s in stays at 80-90 f all the dam time unless its cooler outside, no ac in that room, but there will be if it has to ! Lol the new 6" and filter will be here in 2 days so hopefully that will solve the prob. And I can post some as we go pic’s! Have a good night ,gonna go get a bite good talking with you !

Yeah with that kind of temp outside the tent you may have to invest in a small AC for the room. 80 is about the max I let mine get to. But depending on how big the room is its in you could probably do it with a very small window unit. And if you watch craigslist and the discount outlets you can probably get one fairly cheap.

Get you a 315w cmh. Perfect light for that tent. With a window a/c in the same room, temperatures should be good

a window a/c is your only option, gotta get the ambient room temp down.!

what size is the room and will it get hotter then 95 F mid summer.?

Make sure you have lots of perlite in your soil. Growing outdoors mother nature helps with PH. Indoors you need to control PH light and food as well as water air and attention. Good luck on your grow.

It’s in a small 12x12 room, only place for it, put a small 5000 watt ac in the other room and it seems to keep it in the room 85 in the tent has been stable around 86-88°F so far so good temps at night are 60-70 with ac off, got a heat pad around the planter on a thermostat so were good. Have 3 babies 1 gold leaf, 1 chocolope, 1 bubba kush. I’ll post some pics this week!
