Hurricane threatens my friends indoor crop. Halp

Title says it all. My friend is in the cone of the hurricane, and I told them this would be the best place to loook for answers, but they’re too afraid to post here.
Sooo, with that being said.
They have a generator, so lights and ventilation won’t be a problem.
Problem is keeping the Temps under control. Could easily get ij the high 80’s

High 80’s isn’t terrible. Are they in flower or in veg?

Should be fine assuming the hurricane doesn’t destroy the house. The generator can take care of the rest assuming it is also capable of running the air conditioning if the power goes out.

The generator will only be able to power fridge, tent, and a few other things. No ac :frowning:

So still in veg. They could switch to a 6 hour on 2 hour off light schedule. It will help keep the heat down.

Also I’d like to add he’s in New Orleans, so temps could climb up to 95 easy

What’s the threshold temperature wise?

Depends on the plant. Some can take 100* temps, just requires being watered more often. Mine are hitting 90 this summer and no problems.

The weather is usually pretty nice after a hurricane. Can he put them outside until electric comes back?
