How to tell when flowering starts

One thing I was told early on is that autos have a mind of their own. You cannot always get harvest times like the venders advertise. If you grow with love your plant will eventually be ready for harvest. My seed popped on April 30th, so I will be at week 12 on 7/23. I asked a question earlier today, asking if it was OK to take buds that were ready and leave the others to mature and harvest when ready. The group said it was OK to do that. So i will likely take a few buds by the 23rd and take the others when ready.

Whatever animal you have is getting hair all over your buds! The smell of burning hair is repulsive! It will take time to clean the hair out of sticky buds. Best to keep kitty or spot out of the cannabis patch!

How long have your plants been in that soil? Does your Cal Mag contain 1 percent N ?

Haven’t purchased it yet…but my intentions are to go with FF cal mag… the soil is a mix of 4 wk old FFOF that the plants have been in since germination… last week I transplanted and mixed old dirt with some fresh new Coco Loco and 25% perlite… I would say 65% coco Loco 25% perlite and the remaining 10% is old FFOF…

Thanks@Cannabian. My first time and I have made a lot of mistakes. I am waiting on a little portable air conditioner for my tent. And the past few days it has gotten pretty warm inside so I took off my carbon filters to get more air flow in. I will have to go over each one with a fine tooth comb so to speak. Taking care of mom who has three cats. They aren’t allowed in the room where my tent (thats inside a closet) is. I guess someone forgot to tell the cats’ hair! I even have a towel at the bottom of the door to try and prevent it.
