Anybody knows how to make weed butter
@Countryboyjvd1971 can you move topics? This needs to be in edibles…
@H146 there are numerous tutorials on YouTube but simply put: your plant material needs to be decarboxylated in the oven then steeped in whatever you choose for butter (I use coconut oil because it yields better) then the plant material strained out. That’s basically it.
You can decarb while extracting but will extract more chlorophyll which is bitter and strong tasting. I only steep mine for 2 hours for this reason and decarb in the oven beforehand.
Ok thank you and I’m gonna look
I got a butter Brewer and that works well for me
What is that
I have the Magic Butter Machine and love it
Magical Butter MB2E Botanical Extractor Machine with Magical Butter official 7 page Cook Book
Ok thank you I’m gonna look at it now
Will do thanks for the tag @Myfriendis410
I use a suveue cooker and slow cook my butter or coconut oil for 8 -10 days
This is the type of cooker I use
Fill quart jar with butter or coconut oil and at least 1/2 ounce of flower or trim
Then slow cook at 118 for 7-8 days
Strain product and top off with butter or coconut oil cook for 2-3 more days at 118
It take time but when you make your edibles you’ll be happy
I have given brownies to a few friends and had them high for two days hahahaha
Nice I just looked at it and I think I’m going to get it
I make cannabis-butter using a crockpot. It works great.
I use buds and leaves, I decarb all of it and grain it very fine. 1 cup of trim to 1 cup of butter and a 1/2 cup of water. Cook it for 4 hours, cool and strain.
Proper dosage seems to be around 1/8 teaspoon.
It goes great in brownie mix, peanut butter cookies or even on mashed potatoes.
Add some lecithin which will increase the body’s uptake of THC.
one tool that really boosted my medblies is the Ardent Uplift and the Magical Butter Machine
I use 2 cups of coconut oil, 1 oz bud or shake, 1/4 oz kief. Decarbed using the Uplift, infused in the Magical Butter
@Gardenguy…Butter Brewer holding up well? I’m debating pulling the trigger for one, not happy with MB2. Thanks.
Sorry, I have been extremely busy and didn’t see the question the butter brewer is working great for me. I have never used the MB2 so I don’t have a comparison though
Thanks. I hear in a month or so, they might have them back in stock.
