How to keep her vegging during power outages?

Hello all, question for the group. If I were to have a power failure and the lights go out, how much light is necessary to keep her in veg and NOT to start flowering? Would a candle do it or a 100 watt light bulb running off a generator? Just curious if it was to happen.

Photoperiod plants respond to the day length rather than night length. A cannabis plant can stay in the dark for extended periods without flowering. They respond with flowering once the day length is consistently below 12 - 14 hours.

Amazing that something without a brain can be so intelligent and know the difference, huh?

Everything about this plant amazes me.

@av8ersteve with so many saying a light leak will ruin flowering, if we believe that then we gotta believe even a 25w bulb would keep them ‘awake’ if you still intend to do something about it… I have no suggestion just something to ponder

Community has you covered. I would just like to add please don’t put a candle in your tent that could create a huge fire hazard. Good luck :+1::v:
