A question from a fellow grower:
How much distilled water do I use? A pint, a quart, a gallon?
is there actually a question here? water for what to drink? docs say 4l a day is healthy but I suspect given more info that is not what you are asking?

Yes, the question is obviously incomplete.
In general you only water when needed and how much depends on the size of the container, mostly.
