How many plants will fit in a 2x2x4' grow tent?

I am trying to figure out how many plants should I try and fit inside the tent at once and if I put 3 will that affect the yield? Any help greatly appreciated.

You can grow one short bushy plant in a 2x2x4’ tent. I have a 2x2x4 tent, but I use it for up to four plants in early vegetative phase, and move them to a larger/taller tent from there.

A 2x2 plot on average will support one plant. With the 4 foot height, you are going to need to grow a short plant, and use some high and low stress training techniques. You can go more than one plant, but you will have dense foliage that can lead to problems. I am one of these people and have tended to squish my plants in.

I agree with @Sixpackdad . This was my 2 x 2 with one plant in it and it was short and stubby. But as you can see there really wasn’t room for too much more in there.

Yes. An auto will fit nicely in a 2x2 tent.

Is the closet only 2 feet tall? If so that would not leave a lot of room for them to grow up.

What are you going to do for a light? A 2x2 you can get a good lamp for about 150, a 6x2 will be about 400

Probably 4-5 if you plan on flowering the whole space.

Can you refer a decent light that’s not too expensive and work in an area of that size!!

I’m not really aware of any. It’s not a standard size grow space, so you’re best bet would be to use a couple of fixtures designed for smaller space. A couple of the quantum board kits would probably work well if you can swing them.

About how much do they cost? Anything around the $200.00 cost is ok anything more will be harder to swing

Their 300w light pulls the same wattage from the wall. I’d say you’ll need 520 actual watts. I have a 2.5wx5lx7h tent and use 3 Roleadro blurples, totaling 520 watts of actual draw.

In my other tent, I use 1 qb light.
