How long should LST be done? All of them are LST except for the fabric pot. Haven’t gotten to it. They’re so flat. They never get very tall when I LST. My flowers have never looked as big and beautiful as most of the pictures I see on here. My flowers doesn’t look like rocks. They look like flowers. Not airy, just regular looking bud. How to get my buds like super frosty rocks?

I LST my plants until flipping and maybe week beyond for photo period plants. I am new to autos…I LST autos until they start to show little buttons.
You must have enough light to get really dense buds regardless of your training technique.

I personally will lst throughout the entire grow. Making aggressive pulls up until around mid flower. Then after that ill use my ties to move colas where i want them for the most even spread for light and air and leave them there the rest of the grow.

Mastering the basics - lighting, watering, managing pH and PPM, and so on. Lighting being the most important factor for dense flowers.
As necessary to maintain good airflow within the canopy.

Lol everytime i post this to a new grower or an old one thats new to forums i automatically think the persons thinking. “Yeah, thats what they want me to do. Then they got me and its all over”.

They are growing under 2 MarsHydro TS1000 24 inches over the canopy.

They look great. The best way to tell if theyre ready to be released is to do just that. See how they respond to it. The ones you have that are further along are pretty safe to release id imagine, especially the lower colas. Maybe keep your main down and release the lowers to catch up a little from this angle it looks like the main is still apical to the rest of the plant.
The younger plants id leave the way they are for now and adjust as you proceed.
Also the ts1000 should be between 12 and 18 inches during flower. That is most likely the reason youre not seeing the growth you would like. Those lights are designed for a single small plant.

Aha I got you…jes playin…The 2 TS1000 are pushing max 300w to 6 plants. Should be closer to 720w. Good lights are what give us the dense nugs and colas, 2.8 to 3.1 umols.
Different gauges for adequate lighting;
40-50w per sq. ft. of grow space
120-150w per plant

It looks like the growing area he is working with is a 4x4. When flowering to get the most out of our buds 32-35 watts per square foot is optimal. Right now he is running two150 watt led fixtures. Which would be just ok for about 9 square feet. In my opinion those ts1000 are ok for vegging but just are not going to produce the type of buds we are looking for in flower. This is just my opinion but i will say one of my first grows was under that light. It is now in the pile with the rest of the crap lights that I tried.
