What is the shortest i can keep it in veg

I wouldn’t go less than 28 days from when it is out of the ground. I have heard with cloning, more aggressive schedules are possible.

I am going with 42 days total, two weeks at 24/0 and then four weeks at 18/6, before transitioning into 12/12. I keep it simple, one top, not much training. The more topping/training you do, going longer in the veg phase may be advantageous to make sure you get enough growth before moving into the flowering stretch.

With seeds you gotta wait till plant is showing sex atleadt and clones essentially they don’t need a veg period there already mature and I can flower at any size you want it’s all to the size you have to work with really height if your not firmiliar or confident with pruning or training yet … Look up super cropping and topping for height restrictions if you want full plants with longer veg periods but dont have much height

Far as the tricomes go can I cut a stem when one is Amber and cut the other stem when the other is cloudy/milky

You can do allways 12/12 from seed :smile:

Yup i was just gonna say this. Seeds can survive their entire life on 12/12 from seed

Yes, running at 12/12 from seed will run it to flowering in the shortest time possible, with some variation probably determined by genetics. It may also reduce the potential yield you could get out of the plant, as opposed to having it in veg to 4-6 weeks. There are pros and cons to every choice made.

I’ve read that no matter what you do you cannot get MJ to flower earlier than 2 weeks-- even if on a 12/12 schedule from seed. I’ve never tried to prove that information to be true or not but we can only “fast track” these plants so much. Recommended is 4-5 weeks in veg as a minimum; or, 12 inches-18 inches before forcing the flowering stage.

Hey @PurpNGold74 and @Countryboyjvd1971. I have a question. Hate to ask such a dumb question. Still kinda new here. The question i have is for medical :ambulance:seeds and mix packs and deals in the seed section are they male or female. And if both can I START 18/6 then 12/12. And if I take them out of flowering after 12/12 and put them back in veg what happens. Can they become herm and get seeds and pollen. And for male seeds can I put them back in veg then flower then back 2 veg??? Same for autos what happens thanks @irma1010 love you all :heart:

I just revegged a female. She didnt herm in the slightest but she is a tough sob. Not sure if males work the same way but the pollen u’d eventually get from vegging the first time could be SUPER catastrophic. As to the medical seeds i have no idea. Should def tag the peeps with red circles for those kinda questions @garrigan62 @Hogmaster

But if it says feminized it is 99% female. If regular the normally 50/50 male but u know how luck goes.
