I’ve been growing indoors for five years now and I have a first for myself. First of all, I like to veg my plant for a lot longer than most people do. I’ll go four to six months in veg before I flip them. Last week I harvested a huge Strawberry Cough plant that went five months in veg before the flip. It was a clone and her mother was five months old when I flipped her. The mother was gorgeous as was her daughter. I hadn’t noticed anything abnormal until I started trimming and jarring it two days ago. I found two seeds on tray after trimming a couple main branches. I then found a few more, mostly on the lower stem and then inside some buds. Thoughts?

She must have hermed on you in the last few weeks and pollinated herself. It happens sometimes during the end of flowering. She will herm out and produce male flowers in a last ditch effort to reproduce.
If its only the bottom buds i wouldnt worry.

That is called a bonus female plant’s can have a few seeds it’s normal save them and plant them

Unfortunately I found seeds, 2 or 3, in the couple of top colas I checked. I have found no nanners yet. My main concern is do I need to worry about pollen in my grow room if she did herm?

It would be near impossible to see nanners after the harvest and they can hide very well within a big bud while it is growing.
With just a few random seeds, I would not be concerned. I believe nanners are a bit different from “real” male flowers and think they only spread pollen very locally.
“Real” male flowers are on a little stem and open like a claw with little stalks inside that produce pollen. “Nanners” look just like a small bunch of bananas sticking out of a bud.

I might have misunderstood some reading i did last January when I suddenly started having Hermies come out of the wood work I think 8 maybe 10. I thought it read that they all have the Hermie gene in them and as like mentioned up above its a survival trait. I was cultivating and trimming and dancing around in my never mind that would make anyone get weird lol. My garden girl gave me 2.5lb and I think 10 seeds that I had come across. On a different note I use my Black walnut try as my winter predictions tool. By how many nuts she produces tells me how hard winter will be. Survival is the way no matter. Jurassic park was a movie but showed the same

I read an article about this very subject. There was a term the author used for the end of the plants life cycle. The summation of the article claimed a plant will produce seeds, simular to a hermaphrodite plant. I start my plants in December and they begin to flower in July (8 months). When I harvest (October), I remove all but the bottom half of the plants, allowing the plants to die during the winter. I’ve been trying this for three seasons, in hopes of getting seeds…since the author also claimed the seeds would be female. Unfortunately, I haven’t found any seeds during harvest or any seeds from the plants completing their life cycle.
My plants are usually 10 months old when they are harvested and I haven’t found any seeds. This isn’t a definitive answer, but hopefully the information will help get you closer to the answer. Welcome to the group, good luck!!

Unfortunately I have found a dozen seeds in the roughly 6 oz that I have jarred so far. All but 2 were from single pods on the lower stems. I broke down t a main cola, about 6" long, and found 4 seeds. I’m guessing she’ll put up 1.5 to 1.7 lbs after its cured

I grow strictly indoors now with a 18/6 light schedule and I think, in my opinion, it makes the plant mature faster.

Those seeds are going to be prone to herming out themselves now since they came from herm pollen. If you decide to grow them out just mindful about it.
