How long in plastic bag?

I germinated my seed the paper towel method. A couple sprouted. I took off the bag after a couple days and the plant was drooping bad. I put the bag back on and she perked up again. How long do you usually keep the bag on?

I don’t use domes on my plants after they sprout.
