How far should my led lights be from my plants. Thx

I have 2 x 1000w led ipower lights ( veg switch on)
How high should I have the lights above the plants . I have a few seedlings but I have 4 plants in veg mode that are 8 inches tall. Right now lights are 16 inches from the top of plants.

Your in a bad area for growth
