You still have a few months. I think you will be happy. If you’re not real happy with your results don’t be too hard on yourself it’s always a learning experience for everyone and don’t ever think that you can’t learn from your mistakes I do all the time I make mistakes I like messing with them too much. Looks like you have much more dirt around them and you can always make like a circle down to try to keep the runoff from the other plants. Some of those flowers may give off some type of acidity to the soil. That’s why I always say just dig a nice 3x3 hole or bigger.
